I was born (or hatched) in the city of
Williamsport on September 28, 1931 at the corner of High St
and Campbell Sts while enjoying a ride with my mother in an
ambulance. Even then I was in a big hurry. I am married to
Pat, the lovey lady in the above picture. I have one
brother, Harold, one son, Patrick, one daughter, Dorinda,
four grandsons and one grandaughter. Unlike me, they are
good looking kids. I lived in the city of Williamsport until
my sophomore year when we moved to Sand Hill, Loyalsock Twp.
I enlisted in the Navy in 1951 and was discharged
(honorably) in 1955. I recieved training as an aircraft
mechanic at Memphis and aircraft weight and balance training
at Patuxtant River, Md., while stationed at Guantanamo Bay,
Cuba. After receiving my discharge, I applied for and got a
job with the Post office as a letter carrier. After working
as a letter carrier for eight years, I bid for and got a job
as a rural letter carrier which I kept until I was
informed by my Dr that I no longer would be in the working
force. After retiring, I practiced up to learn how to be
mean, miserable, contemptable, ill tempered, and hard to get
along with. I needed that training to prepare myself to chat
in the 60+ room and keep up with Trish.
